Situation

Due to contractual complexities and due to the vendor not being allowed access the Network Operators performance management system as it contained commercially sensitive data from other vendors. We were approached to provide application development to fill this capability gap by producing a performance system.

Action

Developed Results had the remit of executing these duties in the Vendors customer premises; we were representing the equipment vendor.

We produced an application to extract, transform and load machine readable system data. The goal was to produce human readable files and provide automated charting and analysis. Developed Results produced a database solution, allowing users to select the type of data to analyse and the dates in which to focus. This triggered automated analysis and charting of the extracted data. Also having direct access to the processed data, which by this step of the process was human readable, we provided access to the raw processed data which allowing the users to write their own KPI's.

In simple terms an end-to-end solution was demonstrated to the vendor and the end-customer and the system was used to fulfil the required tasks.
